 hi im in the middle of a rebuild.  so im about to order  a new camshaft  kent     256 /266 

its a 998cc engine   got new timing chain etc   going up to plus 20 pistons   so i will probably have to change the woodruft key .

is a 3 degree one ok   ?

 any advice is warmly welcome -

ill probably go for the kent  256  all ill be doing is around town driving.

It depends on what you need.

 

a three might be right but it might not be.

this is why I like adjustable timing gear.

The offset keys are to adjust the timing gear as they are often 'out' due to manufacturing accuracies in the sprockets and also the cams.

 

You won't know what offset key you'll need, if any at all, until you assemble and measure it all.
