Bit of a random one and not necessarily Mini-specific, but has anyone had any recent experience of wait times to receive a V5 document from the DVLA? I bought my mini at the end of February, and have still not received the new V5 despite sending a followup V62 form along with my new keeper's slip to them about a month ago. I'm a bit worried I'll never receive it at this rate, and my new keeper's slip might just disappear into the abyss as well! I can understand delays due to coronavirus but 5 months without a V5 seems rather excessive...

Yep, the times have slipped rapidly due to COVID19. When I sold my M3 and bought the van, I did the transfer online. Got the new V5C's within a week.

I would give them a call, I took my V5C to the post office on the 11th April to register the car for historic tax status, I had a response from DVLA on the 4th July.
Good luck

It’s so slow I’ve been waiting months as well and you can’t get on the phone to anyone at the dvla at the moment
That's the problem I'm finding as well, every time I've tried to call I just get the automated "sorry we're too busy" message and it hangs up on me. It's a bit frustrating as my purchase of the car pre-dates any lockdown measures coming into effect and the transfer was done online, so I would've normally expected the form to come through pretty quickly, but still no joy
