Handbrake Working One Side

Any reason why a handbrake would be more effective one side than the other, its a new build so nothing is old and not moving but the right side the hand brake works perfectly the left can still be spun with a slight bit of resistance?

Both handbrake quadrants the right way around?

Brakes adjusted correctly?


Can you get the car up and someone to pull the break on, to see if the cables look to be moving the same?

Its a single cable, what do I need to do to adjust the brakes, I will have to check the other two when my partner is back later just I need to do something before getting an mot

Sou d's like you just need to adjust the shoes to match the drums. These may not necessarily have been done when you got everything new!,

Yea they hadn’t been done and the handbrake adjustment was wrong, all sorted now
