my mini was feeling really slow had no power to it a tall untill i fulled up the dash pot with oil it goes like a train now vroooom!!!.how does this fect the power / performance of the engine?????


do i need to check the oil leaves every day?

it affects the dampering(is that a word) on the piston.

so yeah it kinda affects driveability

check it every few days for a couple of weeeks to figure out how much you lose and then top it up as necessary.

i just keep a can of 3-in-1 in my car for it. if i'm going for a long trip i top it up then i'm away.
