Been doing some research - think I answered my own question - will fit physically, but this size is most common for later FI equipped Minis, lathough I've seen seprate ones listed as 7.5imp gal, and post '92 7.5imp gallon, the latter probaly being for FI (??) , at least as far as I can tell (someone correct me here). This way, since they have a built in high pressure pump, you'll need a single inlet, dual outlet (on to the carb, one to the return line) to set the pressure

also whereabouts in the USA are you?

Southeast Michigan

Cheers,

Monte

so do you want one that is 7.5 gallon or one that can run a fuel pump?

basically any injection tank will be ok for running an electric pump.

but all later minis had 7.5 gallon tanks not sure when the cutover was though

Aye, as above get a boggo standard 7.5 litre tank fitted to all minis from Mk3 on I think, up until FI (at which point they were fitted with a fuel pump built in rather than the mechanical pump). Then run something like a red top facet fuel pump with fuel filter.

When you source one make sure you get the correct strap for it too!
