What rear seats fit a mini without major work? There are possibly hundreds of posts online about front seat swaps but only 1 post I've ever found about rear seats and that was alfa GTV rears, I was wondering who's found rear seats that fit without huge amounts of work and reupholstering e.t.c. the one in particular I thought of was Audi TT rears because it's only 2 seats and they're quite narrow in the back.

Seems that nobody bothers with rear seats they just throw in fronts and leave the back looking crap. I'd love to put the alfa rears in but I found one guy after £25 for a set and he wouldn't post but all the people near me breaking them want £200+ which is ridiculous.

Most of the rear seat swaps I've seen have been the Alfa GTV ones, but I have seen on instagram recently a rather interesting project by @marshseismini (not sure if they're on this forum as well), where they're taking the running gear and interior from a modern gen 3 MINI and grafting it into a classic mini shell - including the front and rear seats. From what I can see the front seats required modifying the floor crossmember so quite a bit of work, but I'm not sure how extensive the required modifications are to fit the rear bench seat. So maybe new MINI rear seats are a potential option to look at?
