As post title - what mirrors would you put on a MK2 Austin ?

Pic attached of my baby brum brum, taken 2 weeks ago .... there has been progress since !
She has been sitting in the garage for 8 years and will be coming back to life in the next few weeks

Originally there was a very manky mirror fitted on the wing, I'd like to fit new mirrors on the doors ... chrome bullet mirrors ????

What dooo yah reckon ?
Post your pîcs so I can check your mirrors out !

There was a very manky mirror on the driver's wing. Sort of rectangular affair on a long stalk. I won't be putting it back on, personally I don't like wing mirrors on minis, I find it spoils the lines of the front end. I like the idea of just an overtaking mirror on the seam and am wondering what implications that has over here for the M.O.T

if you go for bullet (this seems to be coming up a lot) make sure you buy the right ones.

the fixed type are for you wings.
the adjustables are for your doors.

If you put the fixed type on your doors you will pretty much not have mirrors that are usable. sorry if i'm preaching to the already knoweledged, but the amount of people that buy fixed ones and then complain about vision only to be told they've fitted wing mirrors by accident is obscene!

If it were me I’d go for the tex ones, although I’m also going to fit and overtaking mirror on the passenger side as well, as I can’t get full adjustment (probably the way I like to have the mirrors adjusted)

I've got the tex ones, as above but in satin black instead of chrome. Looks a little different.
