Hi all,

I've just removed my petrol tank to clean out all the crud (there was a lot!) and noticed that the preformed rubber hose/pipe that connects the tank to the rigid pipe is knackered. I can't seem to find this - does anyone have a part number or source?... Thanks

Or you can get it off eBay where postage will probably be cheaper.

Thanks for your reply. The one I'm replacing is a shaped hose, rather than a standard piece. I was concerned using normal hose will kink and stop the flow?

I'm not certain but if it's an old bit of pipe over time it has probably lost its flexibility and assumed a semi rigid state. When replacing it you will probably have to put it at a very severe angle to actually kink it.

I would be carful with any old stock fuel pipe. It probably won't be ethanol proof. It's well know that ethanol in modern petrol will attack rubber hoses. There have been several car fires attributed to hoses leaking as a result.

I'd just use normal fuel hose, make sure you know when it was made though!
