So I’ve been trying to find some software that reads the MPI Mems2J as there seems to be loads that can read Mems 1.3/1.6/1.9 on both windows and android.
I finally came across this... https://rovermems.com/
You’ll need a cable with the universal EOBD socket and preferably an FTDI chip but the cable needs to support K-Line. There’s lots on amazon and eBay for around £20. The software is completely free (shout out to James Portman for developing).
I’m sorry if this isn’t new news but I have been struggling to find anything to read my ECU and wasn’t comfortable paying the £150+ for a proper code reader.
And whilst I’m on topic, if any SPI/MPI owners need their ECU read around the Carrickfergus(Northern Ireland) area then I’m happy to help out!
