I use resistor type plug leads and NGK BPR6ES plugs, the only combination to totally eradicate interference through the speakers.

I use this setup on standard 998 and 1275 engines, you could also use it on mildly tuned motors too

Keep your old plugs incase you need to paint the engine.

Hi,

NGK plugs always seem good. If your engine is running standard compressions then the BPR6ES plugs are perfect. If you are running higher compression (anything above say 10.2:1) you could look at BPR7ES

Thank you all. What about HT leads ? are there any specific HT leads for the electronic ignition ?

Most leads these days are double insulated. So long as you don’t use the old school copper cored you will be fine. Should be able to pick them up from any motorfactor :-)

Ngk 5 is the stock heat range for most mini engines. 6 is already a heat range colder than stock/ cooper & MG metro heat range. Dont make the mistake of going too cold.
