i wonder if anyone can shed any light, my girlfriends mini clubman would not go into gear today,
after having a look myself and adjusting the clutch up, 4 times out of five the clutch now bites nice and high. one 1/5 it bites really really low.

The car has a brand new clutch in and also and brand new slave cylinder. also i cant see any leaks ( although it is dark :genius: )

any ideas?
thanks
dale

if the bite point keeps changing it could be a worn pin or arm in the linkage!!

check the roll pin in the bottom of the clutch cylinder!! bit of a bugger to get to but it could be the pin rotating!! or as the others say could be air in the system
