Mini Speedo Spindle Drive

Could someone tell me from picture attached if the Speedo drive spindle on the left is a 7 tooth one ? Not sure how you check this.

Guess works website has stated I need a 7/16 for my 1275cc with a 3.1 diff with 10inch wheels.

I have taken what I believe is the 7 tooth one from my old 998cc ( Mini City E 1992) 2.95 diff gearbox which I understand is the below blue one from minispares.

As above - count the 'teeth' (the raised parts around the circumference in your photo)
