please see picture just got my restored shell back from painters, looks great, however her indoors for 2hom the mini was intended now would prefer her existing car and would rather put the value of the mini to a new extension... so its going to be for sale when finished. So what do you think its worth.

Everything is going to be new or restored, suffrage, brakes etc, new gearbox bearings and seals, rebuilt engine.

The question is.. the interior is good but I was going to replace it with new recovered seats, door cards, carpets but that will cost 1 to 2 k. Will I get my money back, whats the value ?Attached File  Mini4.jpg   35.23K   0 downloadsAttached File  Mini 1.jpg   65.55K   0 downloadsAttached File  Mini2.jpg   61.66K   0 downloadsAttached File  Mini 3.jpg   63.53K   0 downloads

Unless the original interior is badly damaged I would put that back in, it's unlikely you'd get the money back from getting it re-trimmed.

As you are a TMF+ member and have access rights I’ve moved this to the valuations area.

Will you get your money back? All depends what you've got in it! lol

Have you rebuilt the engine? What's the millage? Will it be 100% stock?

Quick look on AutoTrader has cars listed with asking prices £8000-£13000 to £22K on the top end.

If the existing interior is good a retrim won't add enough value to be worth doing. Put it back together and move it on, the next owner might hate the interior and want to change it and if the car is more expensive because its new they might be put off buying it.
