Spi Intake Air Temperature Sensor Connection

Today whilst tinkering replacing all the vacuum pipes, i found the intake air temp sensor was hanging on by a single wire.
The connector wire needs re-soldering, but it would be good to see how it should look, im guessing this is not how they came out of the factory and just re-soldering the wire looks like it might not be too strong and could go again in the future.

I would replace the plug or at least the pins with the correct version.
You might not find a complete green plug, but parts should be available from Polevolt.

Do you know if it matters which way round the wires go? I will stick with the way round they are, and just assume this is correct....

They are called bosch junior plugs.
Readily available and come with new pins and a rubber boot.
They have 2 crimp tabs and the right crimping tool makes this job a breeze.
Make sure the back tabs bite into the wires insulation.
This helps keep them secure and long lasting.

Awhile back I put some information in this post:
http://www.theminifo...or-information/
If you click on the link it takes you to a google sheet that has info on the connectors. At the far right is a link to a pin diagram for the wires.
The color code diagram is in the pinned thread for the electrical diagrams.
I was hoping someone would check my work, but I am pretty sure the information is valid.
I could not find the chart easily, but this should do as well:

Colors are pretty much standard BMC/Rover
