Silicone Vacuum Hose Replacing Plastic Hoses

I replaced all vacuum hoses with 3mm diameter silicone hose, pictures for your reference. 3mm is perfect fit for ECU, air box and fuel trap, but it's a bit tight for the intake.

3mm ID silicone hose seems to work well. I'd view the vacuum hoses as regular service items to avoid the problems associated with splits and cracks on older hoses.

This was a good move. I did the same years ago and have never had an issue since.

They were designed as service items, so either bin and replace with OEM or carefully route silicon hose (to avoid crimping or folding over).

Personally I prefer OEM as after replacement they have shown +6 years life so far which is fine for me
