I’ll look , pretty sure I have the original documents for these.

Which pod do you have for it?

Make sure the the pod is firmly plugged into the base of the ACR4 and do not remove.

Make sure that the lead is plugged into the correct port at the top (should have a pic of a car)

If it’s a U.K. market car then plug into the port next to the heater on the drivers side.

For setting the IACV on MPi the engine must be at full operating temperature (thermostat opened and hot) before you attempt it.

The sequence is to go to the Menu For the car Rover -> Engine -> Petrol (can’t remember the exact sequence but step down through and there is one called Service Reset.

After this you need to ESC back to the menu and then go MEMS2J.

I’ll see if I can find the exact sequence for you but the IACV is aka the stepper and the Software tunes it showing a line of boxes across the screen (sometimes depending the version of software it shows the number of steps)

it’s in the -> component -> actuator menu from memory

Don’t unplug anything when the ignition is on (or the motor running).

Basically connect and disconnect only with the ignition off.

I’ll see if I can find them electronically as they used to be on SP Diagnostics support site (now no longer)
