Quick question, I have read various threads and just want to confirm something.
If you had two wheels both 5x12. One has an offset of Et30 and the other ET14. Which offset would cause the wheel to stick out further from the body of the car.
My understanding is the ET14 wheel would do this.
Is this correct?

The lower the offset number the more the wheel will stick out for a given width, so yes ET14 will stick out more than ET30. A negative number will stick out even more.
