What 240v spot welder recommendations/ experiences do people have? Seems to be little info on tinterweb about the good brands to go for. Clarke's always crop up but based on experience with their other tools they are going to be at the bottom end of the market.

I used a Clarke csw-6t on my project and found it more than capable used a 16amp socket, I did have to purchase some extra arms and made some electrodes from copper bar to reach all areas.

I would recommend it, i believe the 13t is better but I found this one more than capable, main thing is to have all joints clean and clamped before welding. Don’t rely on the welder to hold flanges together.
