Hi I noticed under my bonnet that my brake servo unit has started to become rusty round some of the edges.

Has anyone had any experience or advise on how I can make it look like new again without disconnecting everything?

Wire wool, sandpaper, lots of masking off and some paint.

Cool that’s what I was thinking!!

Have you done this yourself? And if so what paint did you use?

Not this exact task no, etch primer and rattle can black, gloss, satin or matt depending on what you want it to look like. Generic silver on any silver bits etc.

I just rubbed my servo down and used silver high temp paint, not done a ton of miles, but it’s standing up so far
