I know the unrestored one has been discussed before, but I thought I'd capture both these adverts for posterity, both on eBay at the same time....

For not much more youre into SwiftTune territory and thats where Id spend my dosh.

Purely hypothetical of course as without a lotto win this couldnt ever happen!

I get that, but either of these will appreciate way faster than one from Swifty.

Lately, at our local auctions, none have sold for under $50 grand AUD. One went 2 weeks back for $65k.

How much were they new ?

The first one was up for £80K a while ago.  Quite infamous seller.  He's a bit of a "character" by all accounts.

My 1071 S went to my best friend in the USA.
He sold it at the Barrett-Jackson auction in 2018 and it had no-reserve. The price on the block was only $20,000. I had offered to renew it's FIA competition papers, get it to current Group 2 spec and take it to Silvestone auctions, but he said that he didn't want to give me all that work.
I believe that it would have made c. £50,000 at auction in this country in view of its rally history and superb condition.
As my friend said "one lives and learns"!

As has been said before only worth what someone is prepared to pay.

In the current financial and covid times people may not have that kinda cash to spend,

Also the way the banks are and poor rates of return putting your money into assets may be a safer bet for some.... minis are only going up, up, up in value..
