Hi all, does anybody know of a place in the Birmingham general area who can supply and fit 10 inch tyres off the shelf? I`ll show you why I need one -Attached File  P1012753 rs1.jpg   97.85K   16 downloads

It'll be roughly the same cost to refurbish those wheels or buy new...

The wheel is fine, it`s the tyre and fitting I need. This happened on leaving Warwick services on the M40. By the time the AA and recovery was sorted out I got home about 01-30 and woke all the neighbours up.

Thank you. I bought a complete wheel/tyre package from them once but couldn`t remember their name. I went to pick the set up personally and when I finally got there my head was spinning, lol.

Blockley have 145/80 and 165/70 in 10" and apparently will deliver very quickly in the UK. I am currently awaiting a set of their 145/80s for my Inno.

The Dunlap Denovo Run flats?  Had them on my 1275GT.  Odd sized if I remember right.

I’ve still got a denovo wheel and tyre - it came as a spare on my 1275GT :D

The Dunlop Denovo was a much maligned tyre in some ways and blooming expensive to buy new. Not the most attractive wheel, my 1974 GT didn't even have wheel trims supplied with it! But by the standards of the time, a good tyre for road rallying thanks to the super stiff sidewall and no need to worry about punctures or carry a spare.

In the late 1980's you could literally get them for nothing as Dunlop had a scheme with, if memory serves, National Tyres but maybe others as well, whereby you could get a new set of steel wheels and tyres if you exchanged your Denovo wheels. If I took Denovo rims and tyres in I could have the pick of the best Denovo's they had removed from customers cars.
