The indicators and hazard lights work on / from the same wiring system - but independent of each other

There could be a problem with the indicator stalk - hazard switch - fuse - relays / flasher unit. There was 2 - one behind the instrument panel - one on the bulkhead

I will admit - not too sure what or where they would have moved / placed the flash units on a 99 / 00 model

I did have this scenario once - when the hazard switch was goosed. I see what you have replaced - were these working units ?

Just ideas for the pot

Yeah, I tried a new hazzard warning switch and flasher relay, the one located behind the dashboard. Everything still not working but everythi.g flashes when i prime the alarm? The lights, dip and flash still work on the stalk

Problem solved, I removed the original flasher unit and replaced it with a new one, this didnt work so moved on. Tidyiny up wiring behind the dash and noticed that the new flasher unit was hot. Fitted another new flasher unit and everything now working. So the original failed, and the first replacement was obviously a dud.
