I have a boot lid with rust appearing in the typical places (bottom edge along the internal frame and the outer skin). Was going to go for a second hand but can't seem to find any better condition ones, so thinking of reskinning with a magnum panel and repairing the inner frame.
Has anyone got any thoughts on the fit of the panel and any tips on how to do it? I've reskinned the doors already so bending the lips won't be an issue

I reskinned mine with a Heritage skin. Quite straight fwd and no real issues. As usual I went one step further to get really good gaps but that’s my thing.
