GraemeC, Thanks for that, ordered.

what do you use for sealing the windows to the body?

I had been thinking about Tiger Seal but that may make it extremely difficult if I ever need to remove the glass in future.

@GraemeC - you say you use the carpet tape - excellent advice - but do you know how long tape lasts compared to regular contact adhesive?

i.e. does the tape "go off" and lose its stickiness?   Just dont want to do the job again - not even in 10 years (if I last that long) !

Not that I know of, but it doesn't really matter - once the windows are back in the window rubbers hold the headlining in place.

Just tagging on to the end of this because others might end up here looking for the same thing as me..

I will be fitting a new headlining to mine which has the sunroof.  the sunroof rubber surround seems pretty much solid (really hard rubber?) and I don't really want to force it out or cut it because it seems they're all NLA parts.  happy to leave it in, but can the headlining be fitted around it by just tucking the edges of the fabric under the edges of the seal?  or is that all just going to come loose over time

also do I fit it all in the normal way, stretching etc, get it all fitted nicely, then cut in the hole for the sunroof?   or does the sunroof bit happen first THEN stretch it out as normal

does anyone have a link about this, or a youtube vid, etc, I've done some searching and not found anything yet

cheers
