Rev Counter With Electronic Ignition

Hi all Merry Christmas . I have recently fitted a electronic ignition , sine fitting this my rev counter has stopped working.

The rev counter is a after market one ( ebay ) it is connected to the - neg side of my coil .

Any help will be grateful Chris .

And the other connection is to where?

and info on the actual Rev counter would be good as the info provided covers many thousand possible ones.

Hi thanks for your reply , it has a live feed going to the fuse box , a earth wire , a white wire for the back light and a green wire going to the neg side of the coil.

The rev counter its self is a 52mm unbranded one from ebay .

If it’s an rvi Rev counter it won’t work without being converted I think you will need rvc type
