Anyone running the MED management style crank pulley with a megajolt? (https://www.med-engi...lley-management)

I've got the kit from trigger wheels but would prefer to use the MED pulley apposed to the supplied wheel. My only concern with running the MED version is I might have to modify the VR crank position sensor bracket as the teeth are inboard on the MED pulley, apposed to being outboard on the trigger wheels version.

I just wanted to find out if the MED version is suitable for running a megajolt? and if anyone has done it?

Cheers!

There are two versions of the MED trigger wheel. Which do you need they also do mounting kits for a sensor.

I know nothing about the Megajolt trigger needs but have played with the MED trigger wheel.

My Mrs Mini has a trigger wheel fitted to it, I machined down the outside of the crank damper, machined down the trigger wheel so the wheel sits flush with the external face of the damper. In the end I didn't fit the megajolt as I thought it was a messy set up with the Edis etc. MED do 2 trigger wheel dampers one with the trigger wheel in front of the pulley ( which will probably suit you) and one at the back. One small problem is you can't change the fan belt with the front mounted trigger wheel set up unless you drop the engine mount or cut a lump out of the mount.
