Would not the earliest airbagged Mini be due for its third service replacement airbag by now anyway?Steve..

Looks a really nice car, I would assume that as it still has an A Series engine in it then it would remain MOT exempt but worth checking the rules to be sure.  Having said that if you are going to use if daily its probably still wise to have it MOTed annually.

 

Looks about the right price to me, I have one of these in a garage as an unmolested project and from watching others it seems that even as a project they are worth 4-5K so 15K for a done one seems a good buy to me.

Might suit some, but I'd rather spend than kind of money on a genuine car, as it's a 16 year old resto which it seems has sat unused since it was done (looking at MOT history), never a good sign, with the added issue of the incorrect engine, interior and wheels for year. Plus it appears to have lost it's original reg number, no biggie, but FSU series tend to be given to cars who have their original ones transferred off.
