Hi i have a used set of 1275 conrods.. The rods and big end caps are matching pairs. The question how to indentify which conrod goes into which bore in the block or does it not matter if pistons and bearings are new?

We’re they not marked before removal? No it does not really matter on a fresh build other than they fit differently.
if S Conrods it does matter as there are two pairs of different rods IIRC.

Got them from a friend .. And he did not mark them but luckily kept the rods n caps together.

I swapped rods around to make the piston heights as even as possible.
Made slightly smaller diameter gudgeon pins to be able to swap them
