I’ve had the gearbox rebuilt, and lots of other engine work done. Brake lines being changed to metal, new adjustable suspension, new alternator and the list goes on.
I’ve put solid subframe mounts on, replacing the rear subframe and I have had countless rot and holes all welded up two new jacking points front passenger and driver side. Raptor stone chip in all the wheel arches and engine bay and underneith, it’s having a full respray in original colours.
It’s almost ready for the respray and then just needs fitting back up and engine to go in. Can’t wait to get it on the road and to step foot back in a mini! Especially with the hard work that has gone into it.

You're making good progress.... I wish my car also coming along
Just one point -it's a MK7 (MPI) Mini, not a Mk3 (1969-76).
Some parts are unique to the MPI, annoying buying parts listed as fitting Mk3-on only to find that they are wrong.

MPI's are well known for rust due to Rovers increasing lack of protective finishes -took the exhaust heat-shield off my '98 (one nearest the engine) zero paint & merely a hint of primer!
Hopefully yours will last longer now before needing bodywork repairs again.
