1986 Mini City Auto...according to DVLA.  Purchased on Ebay last September - 1330 with stage 3 head, discs and reverse rims.  The vendor stated 'too many new parts to list' and I have subsequently come across hi-lo's, a K&N element in the standard box and a few other nice bits and work done - so all in all a tidy little car with 12 months MOT.  I shall reinstate a 3 dial centre speedo and continue the Mk 1 theme from the wavy grill already there.

Lockdown projects include a servo conversion, fitting Innocenti doors with quarter lights and twin tanks.  I'm not a fan of arches so will fit Minilte replicas or 4.5 S rims

I learned to drive in, and later owned, my Mother's 1971 Teal Blue 1000, a 1971 Mk III S in blaze and a pink Mini 1100 Special.  Each was completely standard, including the S which apart from wing mirrors, a rev counter and Mota-Lita rim was as it left the factory.

I've previously also owned an Isetta bubble, P6 Rover, Frogeye, MGB.

Very grateful already for advice from the Forum and that all-important 5% discount code!

I look forward to meeting up when Covid permits.

Cheers

David
