I'm replacing my wiper motor and the connectors in the plug are corroded.

Is there any benefit to replacing the plug (one of these http://www.minispare...sic/520161.aspx) over just crimping some spade connectors onto the wires and connecting those directly to the parking switch?

If you have the correct spade connectors then no problem, obviously use the spades without a sleeve (Blue/Red) as the correct spade connections use 2 small locking tabs to lock them into the plug.

I haven't got spade connectors to fit the plug, I mean using the covered connectors and fitting them loose onto the male connectors on the parking switch with no plug
