Unmarked Head Gasket, Which Side Up?

Hi folks.  I've got a replacement cylinder head gasket with no 'up' or 'front' marking, no brand labels,... nothing.  It's perfectly symmetrical side-to-side, so no real way to tell which side is up.  It's  bronze colour on one side, black with a few bronze rings on the other side.  

 

Which side goes up (contact with cylinder head) ?

Look for the oil hole?Steve..

Steve, it looks like that.  There is no hole that is only on left or right side, so can't use that to identify

I always go with black side to head copper to block,Quality may be dubious if the maker could not be bothered to mark it.50/50?Steve..
