Looks like a locator tab for a sensor maybe?

O ring is 33mm by 2mm thick best I can measure it, suspect from the gearbox gasket set?

Car is Mpi.

Oval one looks like a rocker tab!
Is the o ring not between gearbox and engine?

Yes, rocker tab so not needed as new set on, that's good thank you!

Not no.35 seal that's smaller and thicker and I know it's in.

I think now having searched through minispares it might be the gearbox metal plug at the base which I know I put one in there so not sure why there would be more than one in my kit though.  It was 2 years ago the box was built so hope my memory serves me well!

Looks a bit bit thin section and large ovetall diameter for the box to block seal doesn't it?

What about the distributor seal?

If it is from the gasket set, it is probably the seal for the bell crank pivot pin, #27

http://www.minispare...ive.aspx?1~4~42

I don't change these unless there has been a known leak.

Yes, rocker tab so not needed as new set on, that's good thank you!

Generally still needed or your shaft can rotate and you lose the oil feed to the rockers not to mention the grub screw having conversations with the valve train.
