Made another adjustment to rears lastnight. After setting the hub adjusters, I checked the quadrants and all look to move easily. The cables look in very good condition, not rusted or worn. At the handbrake adjuster, I noticed the clevis pin looked bent. Closer exam show it as find but the clevis fork itself was sitting askew, off centerline. Seems whomever last put it together placed the fork on only one side of the two halves of the lever perch. This made the fork able to slide over to one side some, making it unsquare to the lever and give up some levering distance. I took cable off the fork and placed fork ends on outside of both sides of lever perch. This squared it all up again but I'm still needing to thread the adjuster nut all the way to limit of cable threaded section to achieve a three click brake hold.
I suspect it might be worn shoe actuator levers at the drums as mention previously.
Will be checking those once my parts arrive and I have drums off for new springs. Unfortunately I do not have new actuators in this order.
