"Not another spot lamp question!" but please hear me out as I have searched a lot on this one and it's a minefield

I have a 97 Sports Pack which we all know came with the 4 lamps (it says so on my build sticker, 2 aux + 2 fog)

However prior to my ownership and somewhat inexplicably the OEM lamps have been removed and replaced with just 2 outer Wipac driving lamps that have been wired with a direct feed into the back of the headlamp with a single wire each side.  The wire is simply pushed in to the connector.

I want to put this right and wire everything up correctly but the OEM lights with the correct loom connectors just don't seem to be available anymore and any that rarely appear are £100 plus for single lamps.

Does anyone know of any kits out there that can be connected straight to the existing plugs? Or is it possible to connect Wipacs to those plugs (or is there a kit?)

Or am I simply better off starting from scratch?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to buy the other half of the plug and fit it to whichever lights you want.

Certainly avoid using the headlamp feed - this will sent the current draw well over what the wiring and switches are designed for.

I think they are an Econoseal connector

OEM lights are sometimes replaced with cheaper Wipac unit -but that wiring bodge needs sorting properly (the OEM lamps used a relay).

Minispares sell Wipac Lamps & a conversion loom.... & if you become a TMF+ member you get a 7.5% discount

Surely that the ‘car side’ of the loom?

Thanks guys.  I didn't realise Minispares did replacements lamps.  Just need to find the 'lamp side' of the loom as mentioned but should easy enough to put a plug on the lights.

Could be these?

If not then you could put new plugs on and they would be watertight and easily replaceable if you change again?
