For some reason I’ve ended up with two Sykes cone compressors one with the metric thread and one with imperial thread. I though I had another metric thread too but can find it just now. 
 

so my thoughts are turning to selling one of them to raise a little cash for parts (this is not a far sale post)

 

question is though is there a market for the imperial one if I can’t fine the metric thread

Yes I'm sure there is a good market for these. I think it would be snapped up very quickly. There's still lots of original cars running original parts out there. Plus if someone buys an old project they will need one to remove the existing tired cones.

Thanks for the reply, thinking about an asking price now. One on the bay of e for £80 with both metric and imperial. So if I tried my spare at £50 do you think that would be too much?

The mini spares dual thread one is about £47 + p+p
So £50 may be a bit rich for a second hand one

If it's in good condition I would try £50 as it's a Sykes one. I would think it would sell pretty quickly.
