Good evening everyone.
I currently have the oil sender on the engine not connected to anything. I need to run a new wire from the sender to the dash to make an oil pressure warning light. Would the below setup work correctly when attached to a switch live?
Thanks in advance, yours Babs

Yes but I'd add a suitable fuse. Why not use the existing light in the dash?

Thanks, I would but I converted to an older centre binacle dash over 10 years ago, and i fear that by taking it all apart again, I'm going to cause my self so many head aches! As I can't remember which wires were what haha

Would it be worth running a guage instead?

I agree and have the light on a 20psi switch.
An old stock car racing trick is to wire the light so it is out when the engine is at pressure, then lights at the set pressure.
