Hi guys,

I've seen this question and topic a lot on the forum,
people search for what distributor curve they actually have.
I have this handy chart online that lists a LOT of lucas distributors with their corresponding curve.
No more guesswork when buying that ebay distributor, just ask for the serial n° and look it up on the chart ( and pray it has data on it). When the serial number is not listed, the curve is the same as the curve that's listed above it. Don't take this as gospell, but that's my experience with this chart.
I have the chart compiled in an excel file , if you ever come across dizzy's that are not listed, feel free to message me and I'll add them. If you want a download of this file, PM me your e-mail adress.

The original start file in PDF: http://www.starchak..../pdfs/lucas.pdf

Link to my google docs file that gets updated : https://docs.google....dit?usp=sharing

Maybe this can become a sticky in the tech section for future safekeeping.

Cheers

The big caveat here is that list refers to way at it was supposed to be when new. Unfortunately due to many factors including wear and fatigue, What your particular unit delivers now is usually massively different to the original spec. The best way to determine the advance curve a particular dizzy has a a to measure it and ignore the numbers.
