Hi all,

I'm in the midst of sorting my 1980 Mini Van wiring out currently and have removed and relocated a fair few relays and wires. I've got to the 2 metal w pin relays that side on the N/S bulkhead that i THINK are for the hazards. I'm going to be moving them to behind the dash binacle and was wondering if there is a modern day equivilant? As the ones i have are severely corroded.

2 pole flasher and hazard relays are still available

the modern equivalent would be an electronic type which (will require an earth connection being added if replacing a 2 pole unit).

Cheers chap. I may just have to bite the bullet and get exact replacements in your link. Was hoping for a plastic housing one.

You can get electronic 2 pin flashers, but I don't see the advantage. The steam powered ones have built in fault finding  :D

The Electronic versions are silent in operation, so you need to keep a check on the dashboard tell tales.

Also, these days, many are only rated for LED Lamps, though conventional bulb types are still available, just check what you're buying.
