I must be very fortunate because at 80-years-old I have done most things I have ever dreamed of.

I even fulfilled my real dream as an 80th birthday present which was to fly in a Spitfire. It was awesome to be allowed to handle such an iconic aeroplane and something I had dreamed of ever since my first solo flight in a Tiger Moth when I was just 17 years old.

Now I just want to get my comprehensive model railway finished which will take a year or more.

 

Things I never want to do again include going to Sweden in the middle of winter and experiencing minus 40 degrees.
