Hi All,

I was just sifting though my stored boxes and came across a N.O.S SPI ECU that I bought when I had an SPI. It is in it's original box which has seen better days, but still has the Rover MNE10027 label on it.

It is wrapped up in Bubble-wrap and the label looks brand-spanking new, so I am reasonably sure it has never been fitted. Unfortunately, I can't test it as the current car is an MPI. The other issue is that I live in France, so getting it to a prospective person who may need it safely is not easy.

So, has anybody any idea what it might be worth or do I just put it on eBay.fr and find out. I would prefer it to go to someone who may need it, so if that is you please let me know.

Cheers

Bruiser

P.S - I don't check in that often so replies might be a little tardy

This is an early uncoded (ie not matched to a security 5AS) ECU.

This isn’t the valuation thread but it worth what someone will pay for it...

One of the biggest problems with E-Bay is one of the following

I have not received the item

It does not work

It has arrived damaged

There was nothing in the box

Not what I expected

It does not work on my car

What ever possible excuse you can think of - expect to hear it. There is the odd one or two who are honest, but when you have PayPal giving money back to a buyer for just about anything - even a pavement having cracks outside you house which you failed to mention in the ad - they get to keep your item - and you are out of pocket and not getting it back without you paying E-Bays extortionate shipping cost at what they value it.

Sell it in France - We sold on E-Bay for a good few years - so we have heard it - seen it - done it -  got the T shirt - Never again.
