Does anyone have experience of using either Rohr or Uptime welders?
Needing an arc welder at the minute, won't get a lot of use so not spending big money. The modern inverter types seem to be a great job. I see the Uptime does a combined arc and mig pretty cheaply which gets good reviews.

Well no suggestions forthcoming?

I actually have gone for this instead, Mig (gas or gasless) and Arc combined.

This should meet all my welding needs, gets great reviews. Ive bought arc rods and some gasless mig wire to try it out (never used gasless mig before) and in the fulness of time will sort out a gas bottle and regulator for 'proper' mig welding.
