Can anybody here recommend a supplier for a good quality heater matrix for my '89?

 

I'm on my third now after purchasing from two very well known mini parts suppliers, each one has lasted less than 6 months.

What way have the previous two failed? I bought mine off ebay for about £30 from some no name supplier and its been fine but I did have to relieve the holes in the heater body slightly to get it to fit properly

I bought mine from this guy 6 years ago fits fine, hasn't leaked.

I also used demisterman after a cheapo ebay part cracked where the pipe joins the matrix body. Mine has been in place for 5 years or so without any problem, although I do replace my coolant every year (not sure if that makes any difference)

You can get all metal versions which as linked perform much better
