I recently bought a pair of Innocenti Mini doors on eBay (eBay Italy that is) and whilst the rust is treatable it looks like the Mediterranean sun has dried out the rubber seals. I can adapt the standard UK winding window seals but so far as the seals around the quarter light are concerned, I’ve concluded that the possibility of finding NOS or aftermarket seems zero.  So, has anyone successfully fabricated a set of quarter light seals and if so what did you use?  Alternatively, is there a rubber rejuvenating liquid to soften and enhance life expectancy as the seals are not broken, just very hard?

Cheers

I believe the landrover guys use Glycerine, rubbed in and left for a while, to resurrect old door/window seals.

I've no idea what the innocenti 1/4 windows are like but on my opening 1/4 windows I used various self adhesive rubber profiles and closed cell foam strips from eBay.

These are similar or the same as the Doors that we made and fitted to our locally made Minis from 1965.

I believe these fit and do the job;-

though, an eye watering price. While I'm not a Trader, if you would like them at a more sensible price, drop me a PM.

To fit these, you need to use Rubber Grease, don't try dry, you'll damage them

Look for items "DEFLETTORE SX" and "DEFLETTORE SX" - 90€ each. Other Innocenti Rubber parts available too.

If you try to refurbish old rubbers, put them into the washing machine at 60° along with some fabric conditioner

MiNiKiN beat me to it. Cicognani are your only bet and they cost an arm and a leg. I have used their rubbers before on a Lancia Fulvia Zagato (they are equally made of unobtainium) and found them excellent. I haven't bought their rubbers for my Inno quarterlights yet but might have to change mine in a few years so will have to at some point.

Elvezio also sell them, but I am 100% convinced they are the same as the Cicognani ones, also made in Italy and same price.
