Hi i am really thinking about getting the Cooper car company door interior set for my 1999 sportspack mini. the only thing i am worried about is that i am taking away the originality of the mini as the black plastic ones are fitted at the moment. i also have the burr walnut dash which i am worried that it will not suit?

what is everyones thoughts on this?

go for it?

or keep it original

thanks Shaun

Put the originals in a box somewhere. Not exactly difficult to put back to standard.

Who cares what others think.
It’s your car, do what pleases you ......

And as above, Just remember whatever you take off store correctly so you can refit if you ever move the car on.

I had a similar set from minisport 20 years ago, kept banging my elbow on the door handle lol. As said earlier keep the originals in a box till you sell the car on

I bought the black Paddy Hopkirk aluminium door kit from Minisport when it was on sale, well made and looks good to my eyes. Kept the box it came in and carefully stored all the original Advantage furniture for refitting if the car is ever sold.

I've got alloy door handles with walnut dash and door cappings. It looks good and has been that way from new.
