It didn't matter if it was F1 or touring cars or whatever, Murray's enthusiasm was always the same. I was always impressed by his knowledge of all the drivers and teams. You felt fully informed at all times by Murray (excepting the occasional mistake!).

I thought Martin Brundles recollection of his last meeting with him was typical of the man, Martin asked him how he was Murray said Martin I am not very well but lets not talk about that let’s talk about this seasons formula one.
