Thank you for the info.
The car has these two plates well located, but I read while researching that the MK1 didn't necessarly have a number stamped on the shell.
Anyway, too good to be true, I discussed with a friend who has already imported cars from the US, as he saw the mail I received, he showed me and add for a Nissan he was interested in.
In both cases, car coming from the US, shipped in two weeks to Europe in a big harbor, a bit cheaper than market value, and both "owners" living in Spain working in a classic car shop, asking for the very same phone number to clear the buying details.
the two messages received by my friend and me were EXACTLY the same wording...
Oh, and both real cars being advertised in the US as well...
[running away from it now...]
I will ask tomorrow for more technical pictures and to know if it still has its hydrolastic, just for fun before showing him the true add, and maybe the mail my friend forwarded me. And reporting the add on the french website I found it on.
So many scams today... I was fortunately quite sceptic about the price tag and the availability after one week.
Thanks for the real info on the plates tough.
Cheers
Gilles
