Decat

Hi All my exhaust manifold completely gone 

since that i want to go full de-cat route what's 

options i have 

it's a standard spi 1992

If your car is in the MOT system as having a Cat then you need a Cat to be visibly present. And it will need to pass the SPi emissions.

Put a cat in it for mot, remove it and put it on a shelf and fit a decat pipe. Repeat annually.

Put a cat in it for mot, remove it and put it on a shelf and fit a decat pipe. Repeat annually.

But then you run the risk of driving a car that is not compliant with the Road traffic act and if you get stopped bu VOSA........

understand all MOT stuff but still need a good exhaust manifold any suggestions

Pretty unlikely anyone will be carrying out spot checks to see if your 20+ year old classic mini has a cat fitted. There more likely to want to admire it.

Correct. The risk is low. I've been driving decatted turbo cars for 20 years and only ever seen a vosa agent once. They're more concerned about HGVs.
