I ordered and paid for a wiring harness on 20 November last year. I am currently restoring my 1959 Austin mini but unfortunately I’m at a standstill waiting for this blasted harness. I email every week but all I get is a bog standard reply stating Covid as an excuse and deliveries could take up to 14 weeks, It’s now been 17 weeks and they still can’t even give me a delivery date. Does anyone know where I can get a new braided harness off the shelf that looks like the original or is this the only company that makes them?

Fed up and frustrated.

I've just bought one for my 66 from Minispares. I put it as a watched item and surprise surprise the out of stock red cross was lifted last week so I put my order in straight away and it's on it's way. Check them out.

I ordered mine end of october. I sent an email 2 weeks ago. It took autosparks 2 days to reply and the loom showed up the day in between. Be patient. It cant be far behind mine if you ordered in november

I ordered my Elf harness in August, it showed up in November. My only issue with autosparks is that their website description of what is included isn't good. Can't complain about the rest of it if I'm honest. They were up front about the time it would take and delivered a little bit early from memory.

I can imagine they build the harnesses for MS too, so if MS have them in stock perhaps you might get one quicker that way.

FYI I just saw on AutoSparks' social media they've been having problems with their phone lines which won't be operational again until April 12th!

As far as I’m aware they make harnesses for the majority of specialists.
They switched their phones off and closed their trade counter back on jan and will be turning the phones back on (according to Facebook) on April 12th. They’ve also expanded their production too so fingers crossed yours won’t be long.
Shame you’ve had a rubbish experience because I’ve dealt with them a fair bit and they’ve always been great.
