Best Answer Ethel , 22 March 2021 - 12:22 PM

Blue is 2 (fast).

Though it really depends on the fly leads going in to the actual motor they are:

 Red single speed

Yellow 2nd speed

Blue earth

Thanks for posting up the data sheet.

Just re-reading your last Post and if I understand that correctly, the wiring maybe;-

Terminal 1      Black / Lt Green

Terminal 2A    Red / Lt Green

Terminal 2B    Lt Green / Orange - note this also runs to the Motor as well

Terminal 3      Blue / Lt Green

All the same, could you kindly link the Switch you have.

I've had a bit of time to chew this over with a clear head.  Ethel, what do you think ?

I'm sure this will work, the worst that will happen is you'll blow a fuse.

The Motor has a Park Switch on it, and is basically a Single Pole, Double Throw switch (3 terminals). The 'Toggle' of this Park Switch is the one that should have the Black / Lt Green Wire on it. In the Parked Position, the Terminal that Makes, should be connected to Earth and the other Terminal has a +ve feed to it (from the Lt Green / Orange wire).

1 to the park switch (brown/light green)

2A to the low speed (red/light green)

2B ignition live feed (light green/orange)

3 to the high speed (blue/light green)

Thanks gents ..

I was about to ask where the Light Green/Orange comes in but rechecking the wiring diagram I posted that is the Light Green at the plug .. starts LGO and changes from what I can see.

I'm "emulating" that wiring system with an ignition activated relay too so I'll just follow that wiring diagram and see where it 'leads' me ...

Yes,

2B will just be a live feed direct to your Durite switch to power the wipers when they're running.
